Our CPE offers a structured program that stimulates creativity and satisfies their desire to explore and discover.

Our philosophy is that play provides the child with the learning and experiences necessary for healthy overall development.

An Educator Observation Tool (CLASS) is being implemented, which focuses on effective interactions between the educator and the child which has been proven to promote children’s social and cognitive development.

Classroom are divided into centers allowing the child to learn while respecting his pace and his choice of activities.

The CPE offers several activities that take into account the interests, abilities and needs of each child.

To promote transition to school, educators in four-year-old groups prepare children for specific activities involving pre-reading, math, and reasoning.

The Center’s educational program has been developed in correlation with the six (6) principles of the Educational program set by the ministère de la famille.

  1. Each child is unique.
  2. Children are the primary agents of their development.
  3. Child development is a comprehensive, integrated process.
  4. Children learn through play.
  5. Cooperation between childcare personnel and parents is essential for the harmonious development of the child.
  6. Interactions with children have great significance

The portfolio contains anecdotes, photos, works of art, observations made by the educator and the evaluation of the child based on the developmental dimensions.

We complete evaluations three times a year, with at least one meeting with parents.

We also organize additional meetings depending on the needs of the child and the family. Subsequently, the evaluation grid serves as a reference for primary schools.

The Center is divided into various centers where specific developmental materials and games are placed within the child’s reach to encourage independent learning experiences.

The material is varied and responds to the needs of each child which encourages growth and development in all areas.
